Look at these pictures. You and I probably don’t see these kinds of things every day, but we have seen them. There are people in these circumstances and God has brought them to your attention. I call these “God appointments”, which in our eyes are “unscheduled”. Sometimes, you and I have been too busy to notice.

Anger and the Fence
Anger hurts others and ourselves. Yes, I have apologized afterward yet it would have been better if I had controlled my temper. This reminds me of that. Yes, I need reminding! Here’s an analogy by Audrey Wittrup.

(Back after 2 weeks of COVID and recovery!) Are you a Christian? If so, you were chosen/drafted by God to be in His army. Not everyone in an Army is on the front lines, and there is no shame in not wanting to be. The Army needs supplies (prayers), instructors (pastors), medical staff (healers), morale officers (K-Love Radio and Christian Music), and more. Just as a body has many different parts all working together without criticizing each other.

What a beautiful recommendation/prayer. I have realized that when I speed-read it, nothing sinks in. This affects my soul much, much more when I read it slowly, doing each little paragraph as a separate thing. The slower I read it, the better I feel and the better I behave later in the day! A list of how things in America were back in 1900, which helps me be grateful for what we have now. (From a book called ‘When My Grandmother Was a Child’ by Leigh W. So many people try to lead or manage their workers by focusing on actions. People are told exactly what to do, how to do it, and when to do it. It’s as if the manager/leader is a “slave-master” and the employees are slaves! Some of these dinosaurs are still around today! When they run their whole country, they are called “dictators”. Understand that for people who are incapable of growth this is the only valid approach. I believe that people in some circumstances must be ‘cared for’ in this way, but those people that are very far from what we would consider ‘healthy’.

While I don’t agree with everything he thought, said, or believed, I have always been very impressed with General George Patton. His mindset, his attitude toward his men, his willingness to take risks in order to succeed are all commendable in my eyes. So, I wanted to share some of his quotes that I loved the best. In researching this, I found out that several quotes known today are his! People quote him without knowing he was the original source!
